About me
Hi — I'm Andrea.
I make bright, warm, slightly imperfect photographs of the things people love most: their partners, their kids, their dogs, and the businesses they built from nothing.
It started with a very unphotogenic dog.
My rescue mutt would not sit still for a single frame, so I stopped asking him to. I followed him around instead, and the photos got immediately, obviously better. That's been the whole method ever since.
These days I shoot weddings and engagements, family and newborn sessions, senior portraits, brand days and — still, always — a lot of dogs. Different subjects, same approach: stay out of the way, keep it light, catch the real thing when it happens.
I'll never make you hold a pose for two minutes while I fiddle with settings. If your toddler melts down, we take a snack break. If your dog rolls in something horrible, we laugh and keep going. The pictures you'll love in ten years aren't the tidy ones — they're the ones that look like you.
Outside of work you'll find me hunting down the best light in town at 7am, overwatering my plants, and taking far too many photos of my own pets.
— Andrea

How I work
Four things you can count on
-
We talk first, always
Every booking starts with a free consultation — a call or a coffee, whichever you'd rather. No pitch.
-
Natural light, real places
Your home, your favourite trail, the venue you fell for. I shoot where you already feel like yourself.
-
Direction, not posing
I'll set you up somewhere flattering and then give you something to actually do. It's much easier than it sounds.
-
Fast, generous galleries
A private online gallery in about two weeks, with full-resolution downloads and print rights included.

For the people who ask
Gear matters far less than light and timing — but it does come up, so: mirrorless bodies, fast primes, and a stubborn preference for whatever the sun is doing.
- Mirrorless full-frame
- 35mm f/1.4
- 85mm f/1.8
- Second body, always
- Off-camera flash for receptions
- Treats, bubbles, bad jokes
Think we'd get along?
Most of my favourite sessions started with a five-minute chat. Book a free consultation and let's see what you have in mind.
